Résumé : Canon recently added two models with 6x optical zoom to the top of its vast and successful 'A' series, PowerShot A650 IS and its younger sibling, the PowerShot A720 IS. The Canon PowerShot A720 IS is priced at £179.

Conclusion : Except for high noise levels (which can be reduced by sticking to lower ISOs), the image quality is impressive. The features list is long and includes usable functions, so it may appear that Canon has a winner on its hands. Well, almost. The RRP of £179
